The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford (MHCO) strives to ensure the very best possible care for their clients. They provide resident children with a homelike setting and with love and concern where children can grow and develop into productive citizens, capable of returning to their home communities with reasonable expectations of success. Every attempt is made to maintain the individuality and identity of each child served.
Their Mission Statement:
To assist families in need by providing a safe, home-like setting for children until they are reunited with family or achieve independence.
They fulfill this mission through:
• Quality residential child care services to include institution foster care,
• Parent education and counseling,
• Social skill development for children and families,
• Spiritual development for children and families,
• Academic development and achievement for children,
• Assistance for the advancement of higher education for client children and former child clients of the residential program to include both academic and vocational schooling,
• Community education and child and family advocacy,
• Family reintegration and assistance with permanency planning,
• Promotion of independent living education for youth, and
• After-care and Follow-up services

The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford was built upon the idea of charity...to create a Home for children who did not have one. Charity has supported the growth and success of MHCO throughout its history. Today, the generosity of others is the driving force behind the success of its children and the fulfillment of it mission.
